About the Course
This course aims to thoroughly examine and expand the potential of interior design within the hotel and accommodation industries. By drawing upon contributions from designers, hotel managers, real estate and specialist businesses, the course provides valuable insights into the most innovative and successful structures of the industry, the city hotel, resort, spa or wellness centre. The course will enable the interior designer to combine the aesthetical competences of the latest trends with specific operational tools pertinant to hotels, involving the most important brands in the sectors of furniture, lighting, upholstery and textiles.
Course Leader
Guendalina Di Lorenzo is an architect who has designed hotels and restaurant interiors, office spaces and fashion showrooms. Her clients include Hilton Hotel, Channel 4 TV and Vivienne Westwood. In 2000 she joined Ettore Sottsass in Milan, designing and supervising home, leisure, office and retail interiors across Europe and the US. In 2003 she established her own practise in Milan.
